RAIN failed to dampen the spirits of guests at Mark and Bernadette Barrett’s winter wedding in the picturesque Dandenong Ranges.
Thirteen years after they met, the Cranbourne couple tied the knot in the lush surroundings of Lyrebird Falls in Kallista on 11 August.
Bernadette was attended by three bridesmaids and one flower girl while Mark was supported by three groomsmen.
The ceremony was followed by a reception for 80 family and friends.
“The day was absolutely perfect,” Bernadette said.
“It rained but it was still beautiful.”
Mark proposed over a romantic dinner almost two years ago.
The couple has a child together and is expecting their second baby in May.
After their two-week honeymoon in Tasmania the newlyweds returned to their home in Cranbourne.
