Casey Scorpions Football Club is off and running at Casey Fields, and senior players including Nigel Carmody (front) and Michael Hobbs were hard at it in the first training session at the new sporting complex on Monday night. The Victorian Football League club, formerly known as Springvale Scorpions, is the first club to transfer to Casey Fields and will share the venue with CaseyCardinia league cotenants Cranbourne next year. Training sessions will be held on Monday and Wednesday nights throughout the preseason with the first official game scheduled for late April, pending the release of fixtures.
