A HAMPTON Park teenager was punched in the face several times during an attempted robbery last week.
The 16yearold was walking in Pauline Court at about 8pm on Wednesday 21 September when he was approached by another youth who demanded money.
The boy refused and was assaulted before the youth fled on foot down Coral Drive.
The youth is described as male, 1718 years old, thin build, fair complexion, 170 centimetres tall, dark curly hair, thin moustache and wearing a dark beanie and jacket.

A MAN was hit with a crowbar and baseball bat in a vicious attack in Cranbourne North.
It is believed the 28yearold was walking from the Merinda Park Railway Station on Tuesday 20 September when two men approached him from behind and demanded his bag.
The man refused and was hit across the back of the head with the crowbar and baseball bat.
He handed his bag over and the two men fled on foot.

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an aggravated burglary in Cranbourne last week.
It is believed the 36yearold man and his wife were alone at their David Avenue home when approached at the front door by four men at about 12.30pm on Wednesday 21 September.
The man was assaulted with a metal chain and his mobile phone stolen before he managed to return inside and lock the door.
The four men smashed several windows before fleeing in a red Ford Sedan towards Camms Road.
Cranbourne CIU have arrested and interviewed a 19yearold man in relation to the incident.

A CAR fire caused an estimated $16,000 damage in Cranbourne last week.
The 1999 Holden Commodore was found gutted and dumped in a ditch on Cemetery Road at about 5.15am on Thursday 22 September.
The car stereo was also stolen.
Police believe the car had been stolen from Mornington the previous day.
