IT WAS footy finals fever at Cranbourne South Primary School last week.
As students got into the mood for their two-week break, they came to school sporting their team’s jumpers for a multi-code footy festival.
Last Thursday morning started with a football parade where students and parents dressed in their favourite team’s colours.
They then participated in a range of activities in AFL, soccer, rugby and American football.
Cranbourne South Primary School teacher Roma McKinnon said the students had a fabulous day.
“They were very excited, especially with the activities,” she said.
The students participated in junior, middle and senior school activities.
“We also had a lot of parents join in on the activities which was great,” Ms McKinnon said.
The hit of the day was young Shanae, who dressed in a Collingwood jumper worn by her father on the front page of two leading newspapers in Melbourne and Sydney when he attended the funeral of his hero, Collingwood legend Darren Millane.
