CRANBOURNE Christian College cooked up a storm last week in a frenzy of flour, milk and maple syrup.
More than 700 pancakes were made in the event organised by the school to raise money for UnitingCare, the Uniting Church’s social service outreach.
Pancake Day was part of the year nine students’ community service, and they did all the advertising, organising and operation of the fundraiser.
Pancake and syrup materials were donated by Greens General Foods.
Cranbourne Christian College principal Jenny Hofmann said students worked magnificently as a team and students and staff definitely enjoyed the tasty treats.
“Over $500 was raised for a very worthwhile cause,” she said.
