SET sail for the annual Warneet and Western Port Classic Boat Festival.
View classic and historic boats – both on land and water – and memorabilia, including photos, pictures, replicas and models of traditional boats.
See old fishing gear and techniques, as well as commercial fishing and maritime equipment displays.
There will also be water safety demonstrations and interactive workshops with boat builders and renovators.
Organisers are expecting this year’s event, held in association with the Marine Historical Society, to be the biggest yet.
The Warneet and Western Port Classic Boat Festival will be held on Saturday, 11, and Sunday, 12 February, at the Warneet Motor Yacht Club and foreshore on Rutherford Parade, Warneet.
