A CRANBOURNE woman can now satisfy her husband’s Christmas wish for a new set of teeth after winning more than $300,000 in Tattslotto on the weekend.
The lucky lady, who wishes to remain anonymous, thought she had won just $30 when her daughter called her on Saturday night to tell her the family ticket had four of the six winning numbers.
But the pair later realised they had all six numbers, pocketing almost $344,200.
The retiree said she began a Tattslotto syndicate with eight family members about a year ago and had already enjoyed two small wins.
She said she planned to spend her share of the weekend’s win on an overseas trip with her sister.
“All my husband wants is a new set of teeth and he has just rung up the dentist,” she said.
“It’s a great start to the year.”
She said her children also planned to travel overseas and purchase new homes with their newfound fortunes.
The manager of Cranbourne Park Lotto, Jacqueline Burns, said she was delighted to have sold the winning ticket.
“It’s very exciting,” she said.
“We had a big win here a little while ago but it’s about time we had another one.
“There has been a few wins in Cranbourne lately so it’s good to see we are enjoying some good fortune in the area.”
