PEARCEDALE Primary School is one of the latest to receive funding to build new classrooms and facilities.
Flinders MP Greg Hunt last week announced the school would receive a Federal Government grant of $1 million for a building project.
The grant can be used to build general-purpose classrooms, art-and-craft education, physical education, staff administration, canteen and student toilet facilities.
“The new facilities will help the school to provide the best possible learning environment for students in the area,” Mr Hunt said.
The grant is part of a $2.7 billion funding package for school capital works and infrastructure projects over the next four years.
