SHOPPERS at Cranbourne were told about a range of free legal services last week at the Peninsula Community Legal Centre as part of Law Week.
Law Week is an initiative of the Victoria Law Foundation and Law Institute of Victoria to raise awareness about services and issues relating to the law.
This year’s theme was “reaching out” to people with special needs such as seniors, youth, rural dwellers, indigenous Australians, and multicultural communities.
The legal centre opened a branch in Cranbourne in 2005 to assist people in the City of Casey and Shire of Cardinia.
