A HAMPTON Park man who failed to return home after a weekend football match was found on Monday.
Fears were held for the safety of the 74-year-old, who was last seen catching a train from Hallam to the city for the Carlton versus Melbourne Australian Football League game on Sunday.
The man, who suffers from memory loss and a hearing impairment and uses a walking stick, was reported missing by his carers later that night.
He returned home at 9am the following morning.
Police said they were unaware of his whereabouts during his disappearance.
