Flashers target children, women

POLICE are investigating a spate of indecent exposures in Cranbourne, including one in which a man flashed two young children in the town centre.
In the first incident, a man approached an 18-year-old girl while she was walking towards the Commonwealth Bank on Bakewell Street about 12.30pm on Thursday, 9 February.
The man exposed himself before fleeing on foot toward the rear car park on Bakewell Street.
He was described as Caucasian, 30 years old, 170 centimetres, with a solid build, fair complexion, short, wavy blond hair and wearing black tracksuit pants and a jacket.
In a separate incident two young children were traumatised after a man exposed himself in broad daylight in High Street.
Police said the children were walking near Alexander Street about 11.30am on Tuesday, 21 February when they saw the man standing on the nature strip beside a lamp post.
The man unzipped his pants and exposed himself before running in the direction of Centro Cranbourne Shopping Centre.
He is described as Caucasian, about 22 years old with fair hair and of medium build.
A 27-year-old woman was also flashed during a train trip from Merinda Park to Cranbourne about 8.30am on Thursday, 23 February. Police said a man was sitting opposite the woman and spoke to her before exposing himself.
The woman moved to the other end of the train and reported the man to railway security staff.
Police are unsure if the three incidents are related.
