Motorbiker killed

A MOTORCYCLIST has died following a tragic accident in Cranbourne South on Tuesday.
Police said two motorcycles were travelling south on the Western Port Highway when they decided to overtake slowing traffic.
Unknown to the motorcyclists, the traffic was slowing to allow a ute to make a right hand turn.
The driver of the ute had started to turn when the motorcycle collided with the side of it.
The motorcyclist died at the scene and is yet to be identified
Police said the accident happened at about 4.15pm on the Western Port Highway at Homewood Road.
The driver of the ute and the other motorcyclist are assisting police with their investigations.
