Cash grab appeal

POLICE are searching for witnesses after three cash thefts on the one day around Cranbourne last week.
A house in Caroline Crescent, Cranbourne West, was broken into early last Thursday morning.
Police said thieves entered the house through an unlocked door some time between midnight and 6am.
They then went through the victim’s handbag, removed the purse and stole cash.
Later in the morning, a purse was snatched at a doctor’s surgery in Monahans Road, Cranbourne West.
The victim, who worked in the office, had her handbag kept on the floor in a rear office. The purse, which contained cash, was stolen some time between 11am and 12.30pm.
Some time after 8.30pm, another medical centre on Woodbine Road, Cranbourne North, was broken into. Cash and a Motorola mobile phone were stolen.
Police said the offenders forced a hole in the roof of the building to gain entry.
They then rifled through cupboards and drawers and ransacked the property.
Information to Senior Constable David Measham at Cranbourne CIU on 5991 0661. or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
