At last, it’s time for two birthdays to leap out

By Kelly Yates
A LYNBROOK family of coincidences celebrates two leap-year birthdays this week.
Helen Booth and her four-year-old daughter Chloe share birthdays on 29 February.
And two more of the family’s five children also have coincidental birthdays.
Six-year-old son Aaron’s birthday is on the shortest day, 21 June, and 14-year-old Leah was born at eight minutes past eight on 8 March.
For Ms Booth this will be her 44th birthday despite her having had only 11 actual birthdays.
This year Chloe will celebrate her first birthday.
“We’re having a special party this year with family and friends.”
Ms Booth said normally they celebrate their birthdays over two days, from the 28th to the first.
“Our family thinks it’s great as it makes it easy for them to remember our birthdays.”
Ms Booth said it was special to be able to share her birthday with her daughter.
“The chances of this happening are one in 20 million and I did it,” she said.
