CRANBOURNE police are searching for information about a theft of light fittings from a house under construction.
About $3500 worth of light fittings were stolen from the house in Brendalee Place, Cranbourne.
Police said thieves took the fittings from three separate storage rooms at the house then used a wheelbarrow to cart them.
The lights, all fluorescent, had not been fitted yet.
The theft is the latest in a spate of burglaries from houses under construction which police say is getting out of control.
It occurred between 5.30pm on 15 August and 7am on 16 August.
Any witnesses can contact Senior Constable Steve Regnier at Cranbourne CIU on 5991 0600.
