Dinner served with gong

HOSPITALITY students were recognised on Saturday for their work at a dinner at the recent Cranbourne Car and Bike Show.
The Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) students received Certificates of Appreciation at a special dinner at Casey Café.
Mayfield councillor Steve Beardon said the dinner was fantastic and the young adults proved they would be valuable employees in the future.
The youths are schooled at Cranbourne by Youth Pathways coordinator Phil Sealey, who also donated his time at the event, through his hospitality program.
“The work Phil does, and the investment so many young people put into training is well spent, and a fantastic attribute to the determination of our young to achieve employment,” Cr Beardon said.
