A CRANBOURNE store celebrated Christmas on the weekend with raffles and a donation to local police.
Kerriane McDonald from Radio Rentals said Santa Claus visited the store on Saturday much to the delight of local children who flocked to the store to visit the man in white and red.
The store donated a DVD player to the Narre Warren Criminal Investigation Unit, with a free giveaway for another DVD player for lucky locals.
Ms McDonald said while the store did not achieve more sales than normal, it was a great way to celebrate the end of the year.
“It was a fun day,” she said. “This time of year is so busy for us, it was nice to sit back and have fun.
“People were coming in and taking photos. Hopefully now they will come back in the new year.”
Radio Rentals Cranbourne is located at the Great Southern Home Centre on South Gippsland Highway, Cranbourne.
