COURTENAY Gardens Primary School has been broken into for the fifth time in six months.
Police said thieves came back for the rest of their haul on Sunday after stealing two computer hard drives a fortnight ago.
Early on Sunday morning, thieves again broke into the school, this time taking the matching monitors.
After the previous break-in on 3 June, Courtenay Gardens Primary School assistant principal Nicole Bottriel said the thefts were taking away funds that could be spent on the children.
“The tragic part of all this is that there are limited funds as it is,” Ms Bottriel said. “Those funds are continually wasted on replacing windows and computers instead of on new and exciting things for the kids.”
Staff at the school have also appealed to the community to be on the lookout for people acting suspiciously around the school.
Ms Bottriel said the level of vandalism had also increased in the area in the last six months.
