Driver knocked out in road rage

By Sarah Schwager
A NARRE Warren man was knocked unconscious after a road rage incident in Hampton Park last week.
Police are urging for witnesses after the 40-year-old man was punched to the head about 3am last Wednesday, 21 June.
He had stopped his car on Pound Road near Hallam Road after having an altercation with the driver of a blue Commodore.
Police said the two cars had vied for the same lane when the offender gestured to the victim, who was driving a white van, to pull over.
There were two occupants in the Commodore.
The man pulled over to talk when one of the men punched him before taking off.
The man was taken to the Dandenong Hospital for observation.
The occupants of the Commodore were described as in their mid-20s to early-30s and of Islander appearance.
Anyone with information should contact Cranbourne CIU on 5995 4577.
