CASEY Council is investigating ways to alleviate parking issues in Cranbourne.
At last week’s council meeting, deputy mayor Kevin Bradford said that with the new Cranbourne Police Station, parking was becoming an even greater problem.
He said Centrelink staff were taking up the all-day parks, limiting the amount of parking for shoppers.
Council officers will now prepare a report for a council meeting in July on the options available to increase the two-hour time limit on parking spaces in the carpark between High and Childers streets.
