Robbery attempt at bus stop

TWO men tried to rob a man by threatening him with a shopping trolley handle as he sat at a bus stop in Cranbourne last Thursday.
The 20-year-old Cranbourne man was waiting at the Lyall Street stop with his girlfriend when two men in a silver Holden VL Commodore stopped beside them.
One of the people got out of the car armed with a shopping trolley handle and demanded the man hand over his wallet.
When he refused, the man got back into the car and they drove off.
The two men in the car were described as in their early 20s, of medium build and wearing dark clothing.
Anyone with information is asked to call Frankston Embona Taskforce on 9784 5543.
