VANDALS caused damage with a repair bill of thousands of dollars when they took a joyride through a Lynbrook factory last week.
Police believe the offenders broke into the rear door of the Commercial Drive building site sometime between 5pm on Monday, 27 March and 7am Tuesday, 28 March.
They started an excavator and ran rampant inside the factory, smashing coolroom panels, walls, tables and doors.
Police said the repair bill was expected to be substantial.
