POLICE are again urging people to keep an eye on display homes and report any suspicious activity.
The appeal follows a report of a car outside a display home in Cranbourne last week.
Cranbourne police said a witness saw someone placing an item into the boot of the car outside the Phoenix Avenue house then drive away.
It was later discovered that a window had been smashed at the house and a kitchen appliance stolen.
The car was seen at about 9.50pm on Sunday, 10 September.
And a display home under construction in Lynbrook was vandalised recently.
At least 12 windows were smashed at the Paterson Drive house.
Detective Senior Constable Michael Van Hammond at Cranbourne CIU urged witnesses living in the area to report any unusual disturbances.
“Be vigilant and report any activity around premises under construction,” Det Sen Const Van Hammond said.
Anyone with information can contact Senior Constable Tim Gleeson at Cranbourne CIU on 5991 0661.
