STUDENTS at St Peter’s College are set bring to life the outrageous musical comedy Little Shop of Horrors.
A cast of 60 students will be staging the popular musical at the George Jenkins Theatre, Frankston from today until this Saturday, 25 August.
The story is based on a nerdish florist named Seymour Krelborn, played by Tyson Tifere, who finds his chance for success and romance with the help of a giant man-eating plant who demands to be fed.
Student Katie Saliba will play Seymour’s love interest Audrey, Taylor Piggott as the psychopathic dentist Orin, Scott Jeffrey as Mr Mushnik and Isabelle as the man-eating plant – Audrey II.
A live, seven-piece band featuring staff and students will perform the full score on stage.
The musical has been directed Gina Goss, assisted by Frank Carter as musical director, Karissa Robertson as choreographer and Matt Sharp as vocal coach.
Performances will be held tonight and tomorrow at 7.30pm and Saturday at 2pm and 7.30pm.

The school has two family passes for four people to give away for Friday and Saturday night’s performances.
