LOCAL residents set the festive season off with a bang in Tooradin at the annual Christmas on the Foreshore event on Friday night.
Thousands turned out for the family-friendly event organised by members of the Tooradin Foreshore Committee of Management.
There was plenty to keep everyone entertained, with Christmas carols performed by local entertainers, children’s rides, face painting, a visit from Santa and a huge fireworks display to finish off the night.
