Adventures take a twist

A cast of 80 Scouts and Girl Guides have spent countless hours rehearsing for their latest production of ‘Adventures Beware’ with final shows to be performed this weekend.

Four performances will be held at the River Gum Performing Arts Centre in Hampton Park from Thursday 29 August to Saturday 31 August.

“It is a great opportunity for the local community to come along and see a great production, enjoy some laughs and lots of fun,” producer Leanne Fraser said.

Performed by South Metro Showtime, the story follows a Troop Council who decide to go camping but little do they expect to meet aliens, Disney princesses, pirates, Viking raids, and the dangers of the Colosseum along the way.

Performances will be held on Thursday 29 August at 7pm, Friday 30 august at 7pm, Saturday 31 August at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.

Tickets are on sale via www.southmetroshowtime.org.
