Firies free baby locked in car

By Brendan Rees

A baby was quickly rescued by firefighters from a locked car in Cranbourne on Thursday 11 January.
A fire crew responded to the incident at about 10.20am in Marylyn Place where they freed the baby within two minutes after a mother accidentally locked her car keys in her Kia Grand Carnival.
Cranbourne CFA Station Officer Eugur Ali said the baby was not in the car for long and suffered no injuries.
“The keys were in the front seat and we’ve got special tools which we hooked the keys with and pull them out.”
