Narre Warren police found a collection of prohibited weapons after executing a warrant at Cranbourne on the evening of 12 September.
After being made aware of a person allegedly selling weapons on Facebook, police executed a warrant at a residential home on Latrobe Street at 6.30pm.
Police seized 29 prohibited and controlled weapons including flick knives, swords, machetes and hunting knives.
A 39-year-old Cranbourne man is expected to be charged on summons with possessing prohibited and controlled weapons and dealing in prohibited and controlled weapons.
