Concert keeps hospital in

By Lia Bichel
JUST Harmony choir members are using their voices to raise funds for the Casey Hospital.
Members of the Cranbourne based choir visited the Casey Hospital and met the manager Paul Rumpff for a tour last week.
Just Harmony secretary Len Travers said the group decided to organise a concert to raise money to revamp the relatives’room, where family and friends wait while their loved ones were being treated.
“The room is quite bare, with one couch and that’s about it. It could do with more pictures on the wall, more seating and a television,” he said.
“We want relatives of patients to be more relaxed while they are waiting for their loved ones.
“We are hopeful we can help.”
The concert, which will feature top hits over the past 100 years, will be held on 17 October at 2pm at the Hallam Community Theatre.
The recently refurbished theatre is on the campus at the Hallam Senior College in Frawley Rd, Hallam.
Just Harmony concerts are renowned for their variety, quartets and guest artists.
Tickets are available at the door or by phoning 5995 5861.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for concession, $6 a child and $30 for a family.
