Diving for dollars

Teams of ordinary people from all over City of Casey will get in touch with their inner fish in July when they take on the 24 Hour Mega Swim and raise money for people with MS.
Teams of up to 15 people will descend on Casey RACE on the weekend of 8 and 9 July to participate in the mammoth relay event that will have one member of each team in the pool for the full 24 hours.
Teams will compete for prizes and to raise money via a points system where teams earn one point for every $10 raised and one point for every 500 metres swum.
There will also be great take home prizes for teams including highest individual fundraiser, a youth award, 100 meter sprint and best dressed team award.
The event has attracted support from groups such as the City of Casey, Casey RACE and the Kiwanis Club of Berwick.
