Quick cash

A MAN escaped with cash and cigarettes after a robbery at the Coles Supermarket at Centro Shopping Centre on the weekend.
Police said the man asked the cost of cigarettes when he approached the counter at the supermarket at about 10pm on 12 July.
The man then asked for a number of cartons of cigarettes and the money from the till. The staff member said the man indicated towards his pocket and he believed and thought he had an object in there, police said. The staff member put the cash and cigarettes in two bags and handed them to the man, who fled.
Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
