CRANBOURNE South Primary School students enjoyed some healthy eating last Friday.
Carrot and celery sticks and slices of apple were on the menu in a special visit from representatives of Melbourne Markets.
The event was part of the Go For Your Life program, and the visitors helped inform the children on healthy eating through a DVD on fruit and vegetable growing and harvesting.
They also brought along a range of fresh fruit and vegies for the kids to see and taste.
The children were treated to platters of bite-sized healthy treats, which parent helpers had kindly chopped prior to the session.
