YOUNG inventors are rife at Coral Park Primary School.
Students demonstrated their genius at the Hampton Park school’s first ever Invention Convention.
During the term the middle school students have participated in a range of science and technology activities to assist them in planning and preparing their inventions.
Students were then given time to construct their inventions with a plethora of creative ideas making their way to reality.
They were also given a patent certificate to state that their invention was an original idea.
The convention was attended by other students, teachers, parents and friends throughout the day.
Assistant principal Gill Gray said that during the convention, many parents and teachers had expressed their amazement at the inventions.
“They were very impressed with the ideas and ingenuity of our future inventors,” she said.
