KIDS who popped down to Cranbourne Library last week were enthralled with a one-woman puppet show of Sleeping Beauty.
As part of the library’s school holiday activities, Fairytale Puppet Theatre’s Christine Assange held a riveting show of the classic fairy tale.
Cranbourne branch manager Carol Ely said the performance had been outstanding.
“The response from the children and the other people looking on was just amazing,” Ms Ely said.
Ms Assange works all of the 14 puppets herself.
“It was a visually beautiful and original production of the much-loved fairy tale, enhanced by classical music,” Ms Ely said.
The puppets were all handcrafted with papier-mache by Ms Assange.
