Thieves take kitchen sink

CRANBOURNE police are warning home owners to watch their homes while they are under construction after a spate of burglaries at residential building sites.
A house under construction on Newton Drive, Cranbourne North was robbed between 5pm on 26 April and 7am on 27 April.
Offenders forced the front door open and removed the kitchen sink and taps. They also attempted to remove all the other vanity sinks in the house unsuccessfully.
Also last week a house on a construction site on Harpendon Terrace, Cranbourne was broken into, where offenders smashed a hole in the front-facing sliding door of the Brookland Green display home.
A plasma television was stolen after it was removed from a cabinet some time between 3am and 6am on 26 April.
