Man on stabbing murder charge

A CRANBOURNE man has been charged with the stabbing murder of a woman on Tuesday.
Dallas Rhodes, 41, appeared before the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday afternoon charged with one count of murder after police were called to a Cranbourne West property at 6am earlier that day.
Police say a 32yearold woman was discovered in the Scarborough Street house with stab wounds to her upper body.

Rhodes has been remanded in custody to reappear at the Magistrates’ Court on 20 December.
The name of the woman has not yet been released.
