A DEVON Meadows boy will take on other young golfing champs around the state after qualifying for the regional Victorian Primary Schools Golf Championships.
Bradley Nolan, 11, qualified for the regional competition after shooting 57 over nine holes in the qualifying round last week.
While it is still early days in golfing for the youngster, Bradley has already set out his future career path.
Dad Kevin Nolan said Bradley wanted to get on a PGA tour and have a trophy wife.
“I think that might be partly my influence,” Mr Nolan said.
Bradley’s room is decked in a golf theme, covered from roof to floor in posters, logo golf balls and autographed photos of golf players.
Mr Nolan said the family had a big golfing history, with Bradley’s nanna and pa both playing golf, and plenty of encouragement from his mother.
“He’s been swinging a golf club since he has been able to stand up,” he said.
The Devon Meadows Primary School grade five student had lessons on and off, but has started training seriously just over the past year.
Bradley is coached at the Amstel Golf Club in Cranbourne.
The regional final of the Logical Staffing Victorian Primary Schools Golf Championships will be held at the Spring Valley Golf Club in Clayton next month.
