Cheers start to Jazz things up

Some muscle-flexing took place in round 10 of the South West Gippsland Dart League with the top-five teams showing their advantage over the remainder of the competition.

It was a big night out for top-of-the-table Cheers, who scored an 11-4 victory over Bullseyes.

Jazz provided the highlight of the night, throwing a superb 180, while Ant threw six tons to continue his impressive form.

Shane and Liam were also in good touch for Cheers, who host dart Devils this week in round 11.

Second-placed Predators were also impressive, scoring a commanding 14-1 win over Gembrook.

Steve continues to raise eyebrows around the competition, throwing eight tons on the night in a very impressive performance.

His eight tons were the highest number for any player in round 11.

Snipers were also in good form, winning 10-5 over Dart Devils.

Dean Gibbs took his season tally to 71 tons with a rock-solid seven for the evening, while Bill and Chris Richardson provided great support with four each on the night.

And the top-four dominance continued when Mud Rats proved too strong for Dart Vaders, winning 10-5 to make it five-consecutive victories.

It’s been a nice bounce back for the Rats, who lost three games in a row between rounds three to five.

AAA Dartz ended a three-game losing streak with a 10-5 win over Generals.

It what was a great win for AAA, Rod provided the highlight with a high-quality 119 pegout, while John Bacic threw his second for the season for Generals.

And finally, Troy also threw his second 180 for the year in a 14-1 win for Just Social.

Tony was also in good form for Just Social, throwing six tons on the night.

Bottom-placed Dart Attack had the bye.
