It was a weird old week at Lang Lang Golf Club with the ladies being washed out on Wednesday before some glorious weather greeted golfers for the weekend events.
The September Monthly Medal went up for grabs on Saturday with Division 3 player Bill Johnson claiming the coveted prize with a great score of nett 66.
Johnson won his division by a whopping four shots from Steve Pollock on 70, with Scott Rushby next best with a nett 73.
The Division 1 winner was Michael Foote with a score of nett 66, two better than Theo Vassiliadis with a 68.
Third place went to Michael Ramac with nett 70.
Division 2 Winner: Frankie Chiu 68 nett. Runner up: George Morozoff 71. Third: Noel Zunneberg 72.

On Friday, Lang Lang hosted the South Gippsland Golf Inc. Women’s Foursomes Championship.
District Golf Clubs were very well represented with 32 playing pairs enjoying fantastic weather on the first day of Spring.
Robyn Galloway and Barb Warren from Foster Golf Club won the Scratch Foursomes Championship with a scratch score of 95.
Lang Lang’s very own Heather Payne and Megan Barker won the Minor Scratch Foursomes with a score of 109, congratulations to you both for a fantastic round and many thanks to Cal and the crew for presenting the course to such a high standard.
And Lang Lang would like to welcome its newest future member, the beautiful Isla, who was born just in time for Father’s Day.
Congratulations to Matt and Caitlin on the safe arrival of Lang Lang’s future champion golfer.
