LANG LANG GOLF

What a week it has been at the Lang Lang Golf Club.

With huge fields all week, beautiful sunny days, Australia Day fun, the $250 Supershot Social night, plus our usual busy Saturday, there has been something for everyone.

The lovely weather has again no doubt contributed to some extra players, and also to some fabulous scores.

The Australia Day competition saw 118 players making the most of their day off work and enjoying an extra weekday game.

The Friday night Supershot Social night attracted 100 players, plus many more enjoying a meal and a drink whilst listening to the live tunes by local performer Suze Simpson.

Saturday turned up another big field despite the mid-thirties forecast, and some super scoring ensured a very healthy competition.

We are also continuing to see a large number of visitors at the club which is fantastic and we look forward to welcoming new and return visitors.

Congratulations to all winners during the past week, and we would also like to extend our thanks to everyone who attended the Social night/$250 Shootout on Friday night.

It was very well supported by a lot of members and guests, and everyone enjoyed a fun and fantastic night.

Congratulations to Kurt Batt on his big $250 win by the narrowest of margins, with a beautiful shot to take the money.

The next Social night will be on Friday 17 March, and we look forward to seeing everyone again for another night of relaxed fun.

The Monthly Medal will be played this Saturday, fingers crossed for a nice day.

The booking sheet is looking full so it is promising to be another cracking day.
