It’s a long Mornington Peninsula Netball Football League (MPNFL), but there is certainly cause for excitement after three rounds for local clubs Devon Meadows and Pearcedale.
The Dales are sitting third on the Division 2 ladder, with a 2-1 record, while the Panthers too have a 2-1 record, but percentage has them placed fifth.
Pearcedale suffered its first loss last Saturday, after a horror day in front of goal, kicking 8.15.
Devon Meadows, meanwhile, has won its last two outings, after going down to Pearcedale in the opening round.
Brandon White slotted five for the Panthers in a crucial win over Mornington on Anzac Day, while Nick Battle also collected the footy at will.
Pearcedale will host Karingal this Saturday, while Devon Meadows will travel to Rye.
It’s an enormous fortnight for both clubs, which will go into its next two matches as favourites.
