Consultation open for the upgrade of Bernborough Avenue Reserve

Cranbourne West residents are invited to have their say on plans to refresh Bernborough Avenue Reserve.

The proposed district playground renewal aims to make the reserve more welcoming, enjoyable and better suited to the needs of local families and park users.

Council is seeking feedback on how the area could be improved, including whether existing features such as the shade sail and current playspace layout should be retained or modified.

This early consultation will help guide future investment and management decisions.

Any progression of the project will depend on available funding, detailed design work, additional stakeholder engagement and the necessary statutory approvals.

Quarters Ward Councillor Carolyn Eaves said community input will play a key role in shaping the future of the reserve.

“We want to make sure the renewal of Bernborough Avenue Reserve reflects how the community wants to use and enjoy it,” she said.

“By sharing their ideas now, residents can help shape a play space that meets the needs of the community both now and into the future.”

Consultation is now open and will close on Tuesday 10 March.
