Paint thinners blaze in Cranbourne West industrial area

Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) responded to an incident on Futures Road in the industrial heartland of Cranbourne West after callers to Triple Zero (000) reported paint thinners on fire inside a building at about 8am on the morning of Thursday 4 September.

Firefighters arrived on scene within seven minutes.

FRV crews assisted by the CFA worked swiftly, with the incident deemed Under Control at 8.55am.

There were approximately six appliances attending the incident, including CFA vehicles.

WorkSafe was notified.

Victoria Police was also on scene for traffic control.
