Collision at Clyde Five Ways intersection

Ambulance Victoria was called to reports of an incident in Clyde, at Clyde Five Ways Road and Waterman Drive intersection around 8:30am on Wednesday, 23 July.

A woman in her 30s with a medical condition was transported by road ambulance to Dandenong Hospital in a stable condition.

A man in his 60s was also transported by road ambulance to Dandenong Hospital with an upper body injury, but was also in a stable condition.

Victoria Police stated that units are only notified of fatal or significant injury collisions, which had not been the case during the morning’s incident.

The Clyde CFA branch also attended the incident with one unit alongside Fire Rescue Victoria.

Reports from motorists detailed that the intersection had been completely closed off during the morning’s peak hours, with emergency services attending to multiple collision vehicles at the scene.
