Drugs, homemade explosives and imitation firearm seized in Cranbourne

Police allegedly located a quantity of drugs, a homemade explosive, and a loaded 3D-printed firearm after executing a warrant in Cranbourne on Wednesday 20 March.

Police attended an address in James Cook Drive at about 9am as part of an ongoing investigation.

A 54-year-old man and a 43-year-old man, both from Cranbourne, were arrested and officers searched the property.

During the search police allegedly seized a traffickable quantity of cannabis, a traffickable quantity of GHB, a loaded 3D-printed firearm, shotgun ammunition, and a homemade explosive device located in the freezer.

A 54-year-old and a 43-year-old Cranbourne man were released pending further inquiries.
