Casey’s 2024-25 Community Grants Program and the 2024-27 Community Service Organisation Funding Program will open on Monday 18 March, offering a range of financial assistance to community groups, organisations, and individuals.
City of Casey chair of administrators Noelene Duff PSM said not-for-profit community groups and organisations who provide services and programs for the Casey community were encouraged to apply for a community grant.
“Financial assistance of up to $5,000 is available to help provide projects, programs, and events that benefit the local community,” she said.
“Community service organisations who provide programs and services for the Casey community in the areas of health, wellbeing, and safety can also apply for funding of up to $40,000 for three years.”
To assist community groups, organisations, and community service organisations with the application process, free information sessions will be held online and in person.
The sessions will provide advice on understanding the grant program guidelines, how to apply using the online system, and tips on submitting a great application.
