Bogged duo in Cranbourne

Police have arrest two people after they were bogged while allegedly fleeing from police in Cranbourne during early morning on Wednesday 15 November.

Officers came across a Holden Cruz which took off after spotting their marked police car on Narre Warren – Cranbourne Road shortly after 2am.

The police Air Wing took up an overhead view and guided members on the ground following the vehicle’s movements.

Stopsticks punctured their tyres.

The driver turned onto Missens Road and attempted to drive through some temporary fencings that they became bogged and abandoned their car.

The Pakenham pair, a 28-year-old man and 46-year-old woman, tried to run from the scene but were quickly rounded up by police.

They are currently in custody, assisting investigators with their enquiries.
