A prescribed burn will be carried out in Warneet around 6pm on Monday 23 October.
The Tooradin Fire Brigade will be assisting Warneet-Blind Bight Fire Brigade CFA with a carefully planned prescribed burn as part of the preparations for the upcoming summer season.
The burn will decrease the likelihood of summer bushfires.
Plenty of fire trucks will be present in the area.
Residents are advised to tidy up around their places, keep their doors and windows closed and pets inside.
