A second teen has been charged over a violent attack in Melbourne on a boy walking home from school who was left with life-threatening injuries.
The 14-year-old was confronted by a group in a Volkswagen Tiguan as he left Glen Eira College in Glen Huntly on 4 September.
He was forced into a car and seriously injured after coming out of the vehicle while it was moving.
The student was taken to hospital, where he was in a serious but stable condition as of 10 September.
A 15-year-old Cranbourne boy was arrested in Mentone on 9 September and charged with multiple counts of armed robbery, robbery, conduct endangering life, intentionally causing serious injury, theft of motor vehicle and theft.
He was remanded to appear at a children’s court at a later date.
On Friday 8 September, a 14-year-old Frankston South boy faced a children’s court charged with armed robbery, committing an indictable offence on bail, conduct endangering life, intentionally causing serious injury and theft.
Charge sheets released by the court show the accused teen had been charged with 30 offences.
As well as allegations he pulled the teen into a car which put him in danger of death, it’s also alleged the Frankston South boy stole the $55,000 Volkswagen, mobile phones and an electric scooter while armed with a machete.
The case is scheduled to return to court on 28 September.
