Early morning hold-up at servo

Police are investigating an armed robbery in Cranbourne on Thursday 7 September.

It is believed an unknown male attended a service station on Cameron Street just after 2am and buzzed the after-hours attendant to be let in.

The man entered and produced what is believed to be a firearm and demanded cash and cigarettes.

The staff member complied, and the offender left on foot.

The staff member was not physically injured during the incident and no arrests have been made at this stage.
